About
Contracts attaches the legal layer of the operation to the client timeline. Build templates with merge fields, send to one client or to a segment, collect e-signatures, archive the signed PDF on the client record, and never lose a copy in a shared inbox again. Every signed contract is timestamped, hash-anchored against the per-org audit chain, and recoverable for at least twelve months even after a soft-delete.
Features
Templated contracts
Build a template once, merge in client and order fields, send. Updates to the template do not retroactively change signed copies.
E-signatures
Single-party or two-party signing flow. Captures IP, user-agent, and signed-at timestamp; renders the audit trail at the bottom of the PDF.
Per-client archive
Every signed contract lives on the client timeline alongside their orders and prescriptions. Searchable, exportable, never lost in an inbox.
Bulk send
Send a contract template to a tagged cohort -- annual renewals, compounding consents -- with merge fields populated per client. One operator action.
Hash-anchored archive
Every signed contract is anchored to the per-org audit chain. A tamper to the file is detectable; a re-sign is a new record, not an overwrite.
Use cases
Compounding pharmacist
Annual consent renewals
Pull every client tagged 'GLP-1'. Send the 2026 consent template; e-signatures returned in 72 hours land on each client timeline. No spreadsheet.
Office manager
New-client onboarding pack
Three contracts on signup: HIPAA acknowledgement, telehealth consent, financial responsibility. Sent automatically when a client is created; signed copies on the record before the first order.
Audit response
Produce the signed copy
Auditor asks for the 2024 consent for a specific client. Open the timeline, contracts tab, signed PDF with audit trail. Two clicks, not a half-day.
FAQ
Do I still need DocuSign?
Most operators do not after contracts is on. The signing flow is single- or two-party, captures the standard evidence package, and renders a signed PDF that auditors accept.
Are signatures legally binding?
In US jurisdictions covered by E-SIGN and UETA, yes. The signed PDF carries IP, user-agent, signed-at timestamp, and the SHA-256 of the document. Verify with your counsel for your jurisdiction.
Can I edit a template after a contract is signed?
Yes. Templates are versioned; signed copies always reference the version they were signed against and remain immutable.
Can a client refuse to sign?
Yes. A declined contract stamps the timeline with the reason (if provided) and the declined-at timestamp. You can resend with edits.
How long are signed contracts retained?
Indefinitely on hot storage by default. Soft-delete moves them to cold archive after twelve months; full restoration available from the platform admin console.
Can I attach files to a contract?
Yes. Up to 20 MB of attachments per contract, stored in the same bucket and indexed alongside the signed PDF.
Add contracts the day you need it.
