About
Lot Management owns the per-batch life of every compounded product you ship. Receive a lot with its COA attached; assign expirations; record stability and potency test results; trace every order back to the lot it consumed. When a recall lands, you do not need a war room: pull the lot, pull the orders, pull the clients, fire the templated recall notice. Today this lives in spreadsheets; tomorrow it lives where the order does.
Features
Lot numbers tied to receiving
Every receiving event creates a lot. Vendor, PO, expiry, COA all attached at the source -- no reconciliation later.
COA archive
Certificate of Analysis PDF on every lot. Searchable, exportable, hash-anchored against the audit chain.
Stability + potency results
Record test results per lot with the test method, the lab, and the operator who logged it. Trend the same SKU across lots over time.
Expiration alerts
Lots within 30, 60, 90 days of expiry surface on a dashboard tile; the orders module can be told to use them first.
Recall workflow
One click pulls every order that consumed a recalled lot. Templated client notification; resolution status tracked per recipient.
Use cases
Pharmacist-in-charge
Recall a batch in under an hour
FDA notice lands. Pull the lot. The system surfaces 142 orders that consumed it across three stores. One click fires the templated SMS + email; status tracked per recipient until cleared.
Quality assurance
Trend potency drift
Pull the last 18 months of potency tests for a single SKU. The chart surfaces drift between two specific vendors; switch the preferred vendor before the next reorder cycle.
FAQ
When does this ship?
Coming soon. Vote on the idea board if you want it sooner -- highest-voted requests get prioritized.
Will it work without Inventory?
It will function best with Inventory on -- lots tie to SKUs. We will ship a degraded mode for orgs that want lot tracking without full inventory.
Can I import historical lots from a CSV?
Yes. The importer handles lots, COAs (file path or URL), expirations, and one initial test result per lot.
Add lot management the day you need it.
